On Sunday, May 31 from 1-4 pm, we will hosting a seminar on the new Child Protective Services Law which went into effect this past January. All CHCC adults who volunteer to work with our kids, please plan on attending. We will be discussing mandated reporting, recognizing child abuse and our new church policy regarding CPSL.
We have also invited several other churches so we are expecting quite a few people. We will be having a pot lock luncheon following the morning worship and Sunday School just before the seminar for our own folks. Child care will be provided. Please be advised that this might not be appropriate for teenagers and younger. We are asking that adults only attend.

I just got done taking this certification a few weeks ago. I will bring my certificate with me. Probably some of the other teacher aides or public child service programs may have done the same. 🙂
